While getting a quick bite of lunch downtown last week, I ran across this historical marker indicating the building where a telegram was sent which started the War Between The States. (The American Civil War)

- I am a mom and and a grandma. As an Army brat, I have moved many places in my lifetime. Although in recent years I have settled into being a Southern Gal. As much as I may say I enjoy laying on my couch watching a movie or reading a good book, what I love most is being outdoors. Preferably barefoot.
